is a call going out to the body of Christ to get
ready, get ready! Rally the troops! Be prepared
for the harvest of souls that is coming into the
Kingdom of God. We have a lot of work to do!
We are women of Vision with a mission.
A mission to see the Kingdom of God grow and manifest
itself on the earth through others. We all have
a part to play!
The word says in 1 Corinthians 1:10,
"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the
same thing, and that there be no division among
you, but that you be perfectly joined together
in the same mind and in the same judgment." Now
is the time for all of us to work together.
This past year the Women of Vision hosted
a women’s conference in October, "Preparing for
His Glory". The conference was a great success,
lives were changed, all the women worked together
and God blessed us with a mighty move of His Spirit.
Also, several diners as well as rummage sale and
auction were done for the debt retirement. This
helped get the move into the interim worship center
under way.
The focus of the women’s department last
year was not on monthly meetings, but rather on
helping with debt retirement as well as seeing
women’s lives changed through revival. In 2004,
we want to continue to support debt retirement
with fundraisers and be facilitators of revival.
We will be having quarterly meeting that
will be a time of worship and fellowship and will
be open to our community.
Come to Friday Night Fire and be ignited,
set on fire, so others will be drawn to Christ
when they see you burn! |
